This is inspired by the lovely text from Isaiah 11:6-9
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Although a lion eating straw (and enjoying it?) is hard to imagine. Although the way my cats eat my spider plants....I mean, it's not impossible.
Awesome art, as always, dude!
...oh, and what is a "cockatrice"? I've heard of it, but I thought it wasn't a real animal. And I have no idea what it is even supposed to look like. xD
It's a cool-looking thing, both the mythical version, and the deadly version.
oh my hamster, world will be so wonderful then...i mean, its wonderful already, but then it will be awesomely perfect ,i cant think of anything more wonderful than everyone and everything getting along and living in peace <3
I use the same logic with Quilavas. Sure there could be another universe with Quilavas, but I'm not just going to believe that exists without solid proof and just sit here. I need to work to make Quilavas real, to be absolutely sure, I can't just sit and hope.
From most of the things Jesus said, he actually wanted humanity to take things into our own hands. Sure he could come and save us from everything, but it'd be much more dignified if we did at least some of the work ourselves. The 11th commandment is a prime example of this, Jesus didn't say "wait for me to come and then love one another", he wanted us to start right now. Well right now 2,000 years ago, but that hasn't happened, so now would be as good a time to start as any.
